New! FSA 2008 Preview:
Debit card technology enhancements to improve service

Using your Benefits Card will be a little easier in 2008, as a result of new technology that will allow participating stores/merchants to instantly process FSA-eligible items – including prescriptions and over-the-counter items such as aspirin and band-aids – at the point-of-sale.

This means that when you use your Benefits Card at participating stores and merchants you will no longer be asked to submit receipts for eligible expenses under your Flexible Spending Account.

Please be sure to check the IIAS Participating Merchants list because not all vendors have chosen to participate and smaller merchants may not have the required technology.
