In light of recent security breaches surrounding debit/credit cards (e.g. Hannaford's Supermarkets), we would like to share our proactive policies regarding fraudulent activity on our debit cards. Most importantly, we want to assure our FSA debit cardholders that we take debit/credit card fraud with the utmost seriousness and have protocols in place to address potentially comprised cards.
When unauthorized activity is suspected, Altus Benefit Administrators receives an alert from MasterCard’s fraud department, identifying potentially compromised cards. We immediately mark those cards as “Lost/Stolen” and issue a replacement card at no cost.
Security is a top priority for us and we encourage our participants to review their accounts regularly for suspicious activity. If you suspect unauthorized activity on your card at any time, please fill out the claim form available in the
Policy for Disputed Transactions Guide and fax it to Altus Benefit Administrators at
401-457-7266.
Please contact our Customer Service Department at
